Apple’s standard license agreement

NextFlight uses Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. Read that agreement for the license terms. This page explains the current offering and does not replace the Apple agreement.

The monthly instructor plan

The app download is free. The instructor subscription has a U.S. base price of $9.99 per month; Apple displays the local price before purchase confirmation. Invited student accounts are free. One instructor account works on iPhone and iPad. No trial, annual plan, Family Sharing or multiseat entitlement is offered.

Payment is charged to the Apple Account on confirmation. The subscription renews monthly unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Manage or cancel it through the app’s Manage Apple subscription control or Apple subscription settings. Cancellation keeps the remaining paid period. Deleting a NextFlight account does not cancel Apple renewal.

Account and training access

Accounts use email and password. Students enroll through an instructor invitation and must be 13 or older; instructors must be 18 or older. Students ages 13–17 require parent or legal guardian approval before training access. See the privacy policy for the age declaration and approval process. The instructor manages lessons and training progress; the eligible student sees their own workspace. When a plan ends or a workspace closes, existing records remain available to read and export, while changes are disabled. Age confirmation or guardian approval may separately pause workspace access; account export and deletion remain available.

A subscription is linked to the purchasing instructor’s NextFlight account. Use that account and the Apple Account used for purchase when restoring.

Training scope

NextFlight organizes training and preparation. It is not for in-flight use, does not issue logbook endorsements, authorize solo flight, decide practical-test eligibility or predict test results. Instructors verify current FAA requirements, the exact training route, original records and proficiency. It provides no live weather or NOTAMs and is not affiliated with or approved by the FAA.
